An Evening at the House
A private, hosted evening at a house with a story.
Service Description
For a few weekends this fall, we're opening our home to one small private group at a time. I'll welcome you at the door, give you a tour and tell you the stories, and then the downstairs and backyard are yours for the evening. Includes a personal welcome and guided tour from the owner, private use of the living room, kitchen, downstairs and backyard, a professional photo booth, the pool and BBQ grill, a fire pit with s'mores, a 1980s TV and VCR, and a group portrait at the front door. The upstairs is private, and your host is on site throughout.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations Cancel 14 or more days before your visit for a full refund. Within 14 days of your visit, bookings are non-refundable, since we hold each date for one group and may not be able to offer it to anyone else. Rescheduling You may move your visit once, free of charge, to another open date this season, as long as you ask at least 48 hours before your original start time. If the new date has a different price, we'll refund or bill the difference. Weather If rain or unsafe conditions close the pool, fire pit or backyard, you can go ahead with an indoor visit and the covered backyard patio, or move to another open date. The choice is yours. If we need to cancel If we have to cancel for any reason, you'll receive a full refund or first choice of another date. Arriving late and leaving early Your visit ends at the scheduled time, even if your group arrives late. We're unable to extend or offer partial refunds for unused time. Group size and house rules 8-10 guests total. Ten guests is the maximum, including children. We may end a visit without refund if the group exceeds ten or the house rules are not followed.
